The last few days

On Friday, was the funfair in lieu of the Youth Day. It was so fun. I walked around with squadmates. And then we kept seeing ma'ams but I didn't hear what ma'ams said when they approached us in the quadrangle. I bought lots of food. Me the glutton.

But I didn't get to do my shift. We sold everything before the funfair ended. With squadmates, we went to play Counterstrike at the basketball court. At first I didn't want to play, but I was "persuaded" into it. Squadmates mentioned that ma'ams were aggressive, more aggressive than their classmates. That's one good thing for them. We can't do anything back. Haha.

It was so enjoyable. After everything ended, we didn't stay back for the board or went for an outing. I thought we were going to initially. Coz we were so excited writing in squadmail.

Yesterday, during open house, everything was so new! I mean like, we haven't tried it before. I really like the DALT tee, so nice and smooth. I don't mind sweating in it. And promoting NPCC is so fun. Although I didn't dare to speak up at first, but I tried to talk a lot. At least some parents were interested. Zi Han should be braver I am reminded of the days in RGPS where they were Open House and Prize Giving. I always had to introduce the school to the guests and answer their questions. I like to talk a lot, so I feel good talking about NP. The tough part was introducing our experiences. And then halfway through, when I walked by the booth with Zi Han, Clarissa just dragged to me to a ma'am.

Ya, and she was quite nice. I asked and spoke too. Really like Open House. When it was my turn to be at the booth, so many squadmates were like hanging around there. They didn't want to get people to watch the performance. All tired.

And I saw a few juniors who recognised me. I introduced the ba4, the gu3, the shi1, the uniform and the rifles. I talked a little about campcraft. It was all good. We had lunch and ma'ams dismissed us. I felt a bit saddened. Actually I didn't want it to end so fast. I thought we would be there till 3.

After we got changed, Yi Jia, Joyce, Pei Ting, Jacinta, Shiao Kee and I were hanging around the swing. And we were like swinging and swinging. There was one point when we were like swinging so high and Shiao Kee didn't get the momentum right and the coffee that she was drinking wetted her sleeves. Quite soon, Joyce and Shiao Kee left. Then this little boy appeared. Super cute!

We sang Blue Beret and Titanic, to leave NP in his memory But 39 ma'ams appeared and squadmates were like cupping their hands over my mouth and they sorta grabbed my head. They were so sudden, I felt like laughing. Hope ma'ams didn't hear?

The boy was like saying his name and we heard it as Yi Jia. And we were like "Wah, so qiao3!". We didn't believe our ears and asked again. Then we discovered it was Yi Qiang. Haha. HE was super cute. And we snapped pics of him, we were saying, "If you got famous when he grew up, we can sell the pictures and earn a fortune-"

OOh, I forgot to add that we actually swung till the swing went out off its hinge and we had to pull it back on. We were too heavy

We brought the boy to the quadrangle near the steps and we watched ma'ams wu3 long2. They are so pro. It was kind of sad when the boy had to go. And he looked like he was crying. Pei Ting said that we actually made a boy miss us. Ya lor. I thought we might make him afraid of us, after our weird singing and talking.

Pei Ting suggested that we take pictures at NP board so we went up. We had lots of weird poses. Laughing and laughing. This has been a special day where I laughed really hard till my stomach was cramping up. But about 15 minutes later, Zi Han said "****!" and we scrambled off! We went "Argh!" I think we must have been too odd, considering she saw us.

I won't forget this day, it is the first time I wore my Dalt Tee, had so much fun! I really appreciate the ma'ams even more.
~Love 41 forever~
