Caiqing' 08!!

I love caiqing a lot! It was really really fun, being on the lorry, singing the NP songs, carrying the equipment, playing ba, watching the performances. The first day, I was the..2nd to reach school I think, Yan Ni was there already. Was rather jin zhang because I wasn't too sure how the long xie would be worn, how we will be sitting on the lorry, what we would have to do. When more squadmates came, we went to change into the DALT tee and shi ku. Yep. Wait. I lost count how many times I've worn DALT tee...but I enjoy the softness of the DALT tee. (: We were sorting out the bottles and umbrellas, then fell in with our bags, holding our mcdonalds. eeps. After that we got the long xie, they were very tight for me =X, we got little time to put them on, I had trouble doing that as I couldn't find my size. We got to carry the equipment, if I'm not wrong, I carried the gu jia.. yep.. And the lorry seemed soo long to me, but when we began to settle down in it, it was very squash-ed. Couldn't sit in a circle, I think our batch was like facing all over the lorry. I got very high when we started going out of Nanyang, then we kept cheering and singing! =D I performed with Nicole, Pei Yin and Zi Han if I'm not wrong, for my first ba performance. (: Was really fun. I remember Nicole went toilet. =] Took turns to da ba between squadmates, when I didn't da, I would be in the lorry with squadmates, talking and listening xD sometimes can hear the ba and gu sounds from nearby, can tell when it starts and ends. But I think I was too paranoid, I was quite afraid to pass down the shi from the lorry top, over the wooden fence. So I didn't let go until I was sure ma'am got the shi firm. Aiya. Then also, I found it very challenging to carry the gu along with gu jia down the lorry. It's like so high and the gu is so heavy to shift from the lorry to the ground. Also, I got a chance to da luo at a condo. Was laughing a lot and all. For the second day, I was the earliest! Hahas. And we were not as unsure of what to do like the first day. I think we were very late or something, then 40 ma'ams already took some equipment down already. We stretched and did warm-up, and the lorry on that day wasn't so shaky, but was more cramp. I think we had more stuff, considering there was long. Quite fat. I remember I performed at somewhere in Kallang. I think. It was sort of a warehouse company, but it was quite nice looking inside xD Anyway, there was Pei Ting, Jacinta, Pei Yin and Nicole was shifting the gu when the shis went in. I liked that performance a lot, because it's like I wasn't that nervous and was more confident of myself. We weren't so high, and a bit silent. It was really spectacular at jinghong ma'am's house because it's like 4 shis performing at the same time and there was also long. It's so grand and everything, with all the gu and ba, long yue. I was amazed... Ex-ma'ams were saying 40 ma'ams' long was very very good. But I didn't get to see it because we were on the lorry, then when we were done with the equipment, the performance was almost ending. A bit disappointed.. It's like our first. but will most probably the last DALT we have. I miss it a lot, but I'm very happy, at least we got to participate in one caiqing. And it will be special to us. But, this thought kept coming to me - that is, we won't get to da ba again, will not learn shi, gu and long. I guess that sums up caiqing'08. Edit: ( And Yi Jia, Yan Ni, Wen Xian, Pei Yin were at the bus stop, and we saw lee si min ma'am with her class, going for a class outing, a bit shocking =O. And then ma'am talked to us for a while, we seemed very quiet. ) We ended pretty late, reached school around 8.30pm and I reached home at 10.30pm.. 10.30pm leh!
