From the A to the T to the C. [ATC!]

I shall start with the 2nd day of ATC bah. Was sick at the start, and my parents didn't allow me to go for first day :( I managed to make it on the 2nd day. I dashed into school and started changing in locker room toilet. Actually, I was afraid suddenly might have a random person come in. Anyway, I greeted ma'ams in the quadrangle and later I ran around a little, to place my bag in the company room, pass my stuff to Yung Hian ma'am. Tried to join in the running, I saw ma'ams, squadmates running by, until Zhi Ying ma'am told me to join. It was quite short. Anyway, I was determined to do well for the only day I could make for ATC, but I'm just no good at it. It's like I was so firmly telling my parents I could go, and I shall chiong ah! But, everything is not as easy as having the mindset. Got my rifle later on..There was breakfast, and squadmates - [got Glenda, Zi Han and Lynn!] were teaching me the cheers and all. Eh, so lunch. Ma'ams helped us cook our noodles, but somewhere at the end, one of our rifles got stolen. Had company time. We practised our dance and then I was helping Lynn do her role, and it was so fun lor! I was so sad, knowing I couldn't take part in the campfire performance. Practise but cannot do together with company mates. Have CD comp, it was quite terrifying lah. I thought last year was more hun4 luan4, and there was ex-ma'ams also. I brought Si Jia ma'am down, and I think we were the only ones. I was quite nervous.. Tried to apply first aid, and also helped other squadmates, but when we tried to bring jiawen ma'am down, we died :X Ahh. Yeah, it was Bravo/Delta's turn. Later on we had to bring our shidai, we played this game, where you stuffed your shidai into your pants, like got tail like that. As a company we had to try to snatch the other's shidais. In the end Alpha won the first round :D But later when we played against Bravo, I died quite fast. O: ee. We also played as individuals and it was quite fun. I think I was one of the last few to get out. :P Following that...was Chicken Feet! Wow, it was scary, ma'ams kept trying to poke us, and also squeeze in between ma'am/42 and I. Then got weird weird stuff poured on us. I thought last year was more interesting. Got facial xD But this year we kept getting pulled. I don't know why. But we managed to stay together for quite long. I kept feeling that ma'ams were pulling me, then pushed me down when they couldn't. I remember Jomain ma'am was saying, don't pretend to fall or use this trick. Wah seh. I was seriously pushed down. Ma'ams use their butts and knock us. -.- I got nightmares. Yeah, after that we cleaned up, and Puay Ling and I had to leave already. I was very sadd.. I don't want to leave one lor. It would have been so fun to dance with ma'ams and do campfire stuff. Changed into unit tee and trackpants. First we saw Yinhwee ma'am, who asked why we were in that attire. Then Puay Ling and I explained. We greeted the first aid room's door, and we were like peering in. Suddenly Zhiyi ma'am came out, actually we thought it would be Jin Qing ma'am. Well, so we took our valuables from ma'ams, and I was trying to recall what I gave to ma'ams when ATC started. When we left, it was like 静悄悄, at least before that, squadmates all say byebye. I felt bad, because Alicia say, "You come so early for camp this morning, then now you going ah?" A bit sad. ----- Went to school today and Puay Ling was waiting for me, so we greeted ma'ams together, and tried to ____, but didn't manage to. Yeah, and I couldn't stop thinking about ATC can. Every minute was quite unbearable at the beginning upon reaching NUS. It's like, why we are sort of wasting time when we could have been doing cheering com. I think I'm quite immature. Maybe it's wrong. Anyway we couldn't leave. Before that was some addressing of the students in this LT. Okay, then we moved on to presentation. Ours was okay. But I think the prototype must do more. After that was lunch. It was like the packed lunch we ate during SANA. Then, we had groups of 5-6 for the 3M Wizards thing. Moved to another location. We were supposed to make a "highway" and with ping-pong balls and marbles as "cars", to have the "cars" take the longest amount of time to come down the "highway". Which means, the slower the speed, the better. We had about 45 mins - 1hr to discuss and ours did work out, except occasionally it screwed up by jumping out. Then after that we presented. Got tea break, and I saw area mates! Or should I say company mates. It's a day where you meet quite a lot of familiar people. Saw Zhe Ting, she's got braces. :D Cool lol. Eh, then at the reception I saw Hui Qun, and I "called" her from the back. Her response quite funny. Yup. And then I was queuing up for food with Shiao Kee and Yee Hui, when someone called my name in a low voice [not used to it.], and I realised it was Jinghao! Said hello to him. Never expected to see so many people. Went back to the LT - Puay Ling's group was one of the top five teams, so BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE! Yeah, and the process of the five presentations were funny and it wasn't so boring lah. But we were sort of running late, and later Puay Ling was being nice and went with me to find a toilet haha. Later both of us took a bus to MRT, and took the train, where Puay Ling dropped at Jurong East. By the time I reached Lakeside, I was exhausted. Probably from yesterday's PT stuff. But then that time I was frustrated and quite upset we didn't get to go last day of ATC (the teachers said we had to stay, and then 3 of them left just like that. it's so unfair.), I decided to walk all the way home. I was limping half the time, because of the strain. I felt that walking all the way could likely cool me down and also straighten things out. I feel aches over me. Ow. [So many things went through, but it was mostly: missing campfire, missing my first day of atc, missing the 3rd day.] +Somehow I think I'm really unlucky. Last year Alpha could get best company, but this year we got last eh. :X Then Bravo got best this year. *sighs* 0 comment[s] | back to top |
