I can't believe it! My dad's team won the ASEAN age group 50 and above 2nd runner up :) I'm so proud of you. My dad went to Genting for the whole week until today, when he came back. Lots of goodies, but I'm so happy! He hasn't played in competitions after his 20s where he represented Singapore for SEA games. I totally admire him for the fact that he got a chance to do Singapore proud. Ah! I'm overwhelmed. =D I have no idea how to express my happiness and pride. Yay, whoowhoo! I remember I played captain's ball this week during PE, and I was also wondering if my dad was playing his game at that time. You know, he calls every night and I would always ask how his day was, his game was, the team he played against, and who he would be playing against. I would feel excited as he tells me about everything, I think that it is really cool to be able to play with basketball players overseas and put their skills to test. I hope he will still play against next year, and I hope that I can tag along, because he had wanted to bring us along, but there wasn't holidays in this period of time. 0 comment[s] | back to topHolidays ending

![]() Holidays are ending soon... Then there are exams coming. Have to keep mugging. I wonder if lessons will be equally stressing if they are going through past year papers. I look forward to seeing squadmates and finding out what happened.. Sorry for the short post, going out soon 0 comment[s] | back to topNice Thursday..

I think. I changed my set of braces. It used to be bright blue, pink-purplish, bright green and now greyish-blue. Not bad. It looks a bit snowy. *I'm going for dunno what removal of my teeth in a few weeks time. Super nervous.* Anyway, I was late for my appointment because I went class to class to pass the messages to F4L members. It was so hard to talk to ma'am, as in, they were not being tough on us. But it was the barrier feeling. I felt the pressure. Oh, I haven't said how I got the "job". I wasn't in F4L but Shiao Kee made me tag along with her to the PE Dept, because I wanted to check RO. Then Mr Chia was talking to her. Suddenly he came out with four sheets of paper and say, "Can you girls help me to tell these girls to hand in their consent forms?" He handed some papers to Shiao Kee at first, but then I thought that's all. Who knew he also passed me the upper sec papers! I was like huh. Mr Chia joked, "Ai yah, you are good friends mah." We looked at each other, but we cannot deny right? We are squadmates. So that's how the papers got onto my hands. Muahaha. Anyway, I still have to go around asking tomorrow again ![]() Wait, there's DALT!! It has been such a long time since we last had DALT. I'm afraid of PT. Argh. I have been doing at least 15 pumpings each day since ma'ams said Mr Han wanted us to exercise at home. I did 45 yesterday. Amazingly. Ooh, I have to work on sit-ups too. 0 comment[s] | back to topCL Speech

I thought I would never like CL Speech. The drama teacher who came in especially for the year-end play, warmed us up in a fun way. I felt quite comfortable. At first we were supposed to do "charade", and I pretended to roll the dough for pastry and luckily, my classmates guessed it. Jun Wei was giggling. I burst out laughing when I stopped. Everyone was super creative lor. Think of chao varied actions to show. Don't know if the teacher was trying to fu yan us or if she meant it sincerely. She said we were the most united and confident in her group. I doubt that she is saying the truth. I think she is spearing us on only. The second part was editing a scenario - a young person was sitting on a bench which was just painted. However, he did not know about it. An old man walked up to him, saying shakily, "你,你。。。你。。。" Then the young person ignored the old man and turned away. After the man finally finished his sentence, the young person was super embarrassed. So I was with Si Hui, Jun Wei and Haiyun. I didn't know why, but I suddenly thought of something wacky. I was blabbering how we could have a father sitting on "the bench" and the son wanted the father to play with him. So the young kid was shaking his dad's arm and had a whining tone. The father was reading the newspaper and refused. After some time, he finally got fed up and asked the son to go home. "heehehehe", a soft laughter came from the back, apparently, everyone saw the paint mark. I then set for the clueless son asked," 爸爸,为什么你在流血?" I was holding back my laughter when I was up to present lor. So hao xiao. Everyone was laughing!! The teacher was asking our group who thought of the idea. Then she joked, "haha, you can write the class play's script already." I got to say Si Hui is a good actress, even though she may be very quiet. But she is so pro when she is around familiar people. She will not be nervous and can do really well. ![]() 0 comment[s] | back to topDon't take DALT away!

Today is Friday. There was supposed to be DALT, but then RO said it was ACT. Mr Han came to talk to us and I didnt think much of it. He was going round and round and he said that DALT was going to end soon, either this year or next year. He said that Lion Dancing was taking up lots of our time and is affecting our standard when other schools can spend twice the amount of time learning drills. And then he said our performance could not be as good as other high standards schools for cai qing. But when I joined NP, the thing I was attracted to was DALT! Even though I am not very good at ba4, but I sort of have grown to love it a lot. I remembered I was wondering what it would be like for the cai qing in the next few years. And this news had to come at this time. I was looking forward to learning gu, shi and long also. What if we never get to learn? My relatives are also proud of me learning Lion Dancing. They are very traditional, but that is why they support for NP. They will be disappointed if they learn of the news. I hate it. I want to do something about it, but I don't know what I can do. I can't just sit back and accept it. ![]() I know I can't express myself, but DALT should never be sacrificed no matter what. I just won't let it happen. 0 comment[s] | back to top |
