Funfair and OO.

Yesterday was funfair and we had lots of preparation time lah. So I reached school and as we had to collect kitkats from ma'ams, so I called Puay Ling, then Jiajia, Puay Ling and I went to find ma'ams. We took quite long, because it wasn't clear if we had to take one pack or two. Yep, and the best part was that we finally got to do funfair with OUR OWN 202 SHIRT!! We managed to clear practically everything, we sold macaroni covered with mushroom soup and cocktail. Was quite fun. Yeah, then I also bought stuff from stalls. Spent all my 10 bucks. Haha, 202 got the cleanest class award. And then we also had lollipops. Was fun. After that, somehow, Lynn, Clarissa, Glenda, Jiajia, Zi Han and I ended up at 3rd floor hall area there, and then..Jiajia went to suck in helium from the balloons. And she sounded squeaky. OMG. So creepy. Glenda also tried, but not so amusing as Jiajia. She also went highpitched for a second. Later, Jiajia and Lynn went off, and the rest of us was hanging out at the piano there, when we finally went home.

I was really excited for OO yesterday, and prepared coloured cards and everything lah. Was quite happy kind. I mean, it's our first time hosting a major competition for NYNP! I read the script out a few times, and slept quite late. But I managed to wake up early, and I reached school at 6 man. Eh. Yeah, but Pei Ting was delayed because she overslept. We were in panic mode. Pei Ting arrived, and we fell out and had a small briefing before proceeding on to our stations. The activity itself was quite fun, but I really thought our stuff was disorganised. As in, we had clear rules and everything, but our table was simply very messy. You couldn't find anything when you needed it. I thought we spent a lot of time having to flip our stuff to find things. At the start of the game, where we had our own time, I tried to keep it neat, but afterall a while, I don't know why, everything was like strewn all over the place. That's when I began to huang1 and because time is a crucial factor in OO, then I wanted to be fast, but small stuff like having to find the checklist etc, slowed me down. But I can't exactly say our table is very disorganised right, it will be very weird. Anyway, no one else thought so, so I could be very picky about stuff.

Later on ma'ams talked to us, and we had to change into DALT tee + shiku/shidai, so we chionged a lot. Yeah, we were running about the school in bright red pants. The funny thing was that in the short timespan we changed, it actually rained. So when I first stepped out of the toilet, I was wondering how come so quiet. We ran to NP room, and realised no one was there, and Yung Hian ma'am ran over to tell us to go over and carry equipment. The gu seemed light. Yeah, then we had to play the finale. I partnered my shiwei Nicole (:, and surprisingly, we remained until there were like around 9 groups left. Quite fun. But it was also really great to sit outside and watch Hui Han and Yan Ni battle it out with other teams. Hui Han so cute xD Then suddenly I noticed that ACS (BR) people were actually picking up the balloon scraps, and I was asking squadmates about what to do lol. I mean, because we are the host mah, I felt bad that they were doing it. It was really nice of them lor. But then I was like going over to them and saying that they really didn't have to do it one. Later Puay Ling was picking those up, and squadmates also helped. =] Very quickly it was cleared le.

After that, ma'ams were sort of talking to the schools, and we started with the DALT performance. I was quite happy about it, as in I like performing in DALT Tee, got pride. (: But then, Wen Xian's ba was ..broken. I mean, metal actually just broke. When I first heard the sequence, and that Jin Qing ma'am and Jomain ma'am were going to zhan4 jiao3 on pen1 and the bench, I was really like filled with ... respect! It's really hard. The performance was actually nice, but there was a small accident. But it really was a performance worth looking up to. The giving out of prizes later, and we started carrying equipment up to NP room. We had debrief, but then it was like a bit upset that not everyone had fun. And I felt a little sad and disappointed bah. Luckily we had 4 people for Genius Development, because if one person went over, then it would mean we could have been busier. Because there was one point of time where they were 5-6 schools and like, it was really hard to be sharing the cards. And there would be confusion actually. But then it was filled with exciting elements and was fun. It was a success lah! Later on, ma'ams were talking to us so it kind of made me feel very bad. >< We actually did not let ma'ams know.

Changed, and then smsed Justin to see their opinion of OO today. Unexpectedly, he called. O: They enjoyed themselves, it was very nice to hear. Aiya. Anyway the whole afternoon I didn't feel like talking, was tired le. Then squadmates and I went to curry wok. And quite fun listening to squadmates talk about random stuff. Went home with Yan Ni, Yi Jia and Wen Xian, but I fell asleep for half the journey. When Yi Jia and I got off, I was like in a half awake mode, and Yi Jia said got 39 ma'ams, as in they were on the bus. I was like O.O Very big shock. Walked around the mall and got home.

But these couple of days were good, got to plan stuff and prepare ourselves to speak better in front of audiences. Oh wells. (: Great job everyone.

I'm feeling so stressed suddenly. I mean, I was like so high and excited for the funfair and operation opulence, until history sia affected me. Anyway I shall be getting my sleep, soon. Terrible terrible. I'm in a wrong state of mind. In delirium. Lately, I've been hallucinating. >< Gosh, this is scary one. I must hang on to the end le.. Have so many things to complete!

Lots of things coming.

I think there's so many things coming, firstly funfair, then Operation Opulence, then got chinese debate, cross country. Woots. Quite a lot. Im hoping tomorrow will be slack xD And I'm happy that Monday is a holiday! Can spend time doing stuff. Lately, I've been staying up late lah. Doing Romeo and Juliet things and er..random stuff. I heard that some schools already heard about OO le. Yeah, areamate Justin said he not going. >< Then Nicole said something about Catholic High knowing about the thing. It's so cool, like our school's activity is spread to quite a number of schools. I wonder if there will be a lot of people on the actual day itself. Ohh, I've been trying to go home early haha. But I always can't resist the temptation of staying in school and eat, and doing things with squadmates. These couple of days, I managed to go home and sleep in afternoons.

We did not go for ACT yesterday, because we had parental objections. We told ma'ams at last minute, and ma'ams helped us a lot in settling the matter. I felt quite grateful actually. But I never wanted like such an awkward situation to happen. Then during lunch today we were hoping that ma'ams can have a squadtalk with us. :X It's like we've never had a...heart-to-heart squadtalk with ma'ams before..Very 遗憾. Still remember last year with 38 ma'ams always have squadtalk after school, then we always laugh so much. I don't want POP to come so soon. :( At least we will have a chance to do OO, and cross country alongside with ma'ams, as a unit. Must enjoy ourselves, even though we know we are reaching a stopping point soon.

I shall strive to complete my SIA. And also prepare for debate. Must win. I'm scared..Anyway more block tests coming soon. Must jiayou also. There is so many things in me now, can't put down but stuck there all the time. And today we had CME presentation..It was quite bad, we overshot. Then Jiajia also because of us.. >< It's like according to last night's sequence, I remembered Jiajia was allocated to one celebrity, but then I don't know why it was swopped!! Because I remembed Haiyun and I stuck to one golden rule, which was to let everyone speak once before another cycle begins. I'm feeling really awful. It's like I did wrong also. I also don't know how to express to her. It's terrible inside. :X 很难受很难受. My conscience keeps reminding myself of it. =X

End of week!

I slept late last night woots. And, I woke up this morning late. But I didn't miss the bus. (: When I reached school, I was chionging to digest the shi and long stuff. And then today jiao lian say to go back and study for all of us. I was so scared. If we did have the test, I think I'd flunk it. Today was SJAB day and also Jun Wei's NCOs de POP. We saw Yeelin ma'am in school also :D She waved at us! Haha, and it's like speaking of POP, I'm reminded of the fact that ma'ams would be leaving us soon le. >< There's only one month left, or two. Very sad eh. :( After that was PCCG, and the topic of funfair came. Then debate. You know, I unknowingly became in the debate thing. I'm just thinking of a question: Who wrote my name on the board? I mean, I'm NO good at debating, I even have problems making speeches. Later I stutter stutter then die. Maybe I'll end up as reserve xD

Recess was also reading of notes, yeah. If I'm not wrong, there was never a time I was not walking around the school without my notes. Romeo and Juliet is so complicated and very fake. When it was finally end of day, we had DALT. Got the green long, and we learnt new movements. Got the zui shi on the ground, xing li all directions, cha jiao, then normal stuff like qi bu, xiao jian, then eat the veggie - kan qing. if im not wrong. yeah, rest is what we've learnt. Okay, today was not very good or anything.

But after DALT was quite funny. Yeah, we went down, almost everyone, to buy food. I think ma'ams were around. Yah. Then hor, Pei Ting wanted to buy milk. And I think I heard her ask, "Uncle, 你什么时候有牛奶?" I was like o.O And told Nicole and Glenda what I was thinking of. Blehh. Eww, so later squadmates started talking about it, and came up with versions of __*ahem* And we realised ___ is everywhere. >< I shall try to ask myself to finish my homework, so I shall not stick here. Bye! xD

Yesterday and today.

Well, we watched some videos about cyberwellness during ICT, and some quite unbelievable. O: I didn't believe it lor. Scary. I was surprisingly alert for the day. LA was quite weird, because I didn't exactly feel like doing stuff. Yeah, and Dr Carey took over. The teaching style is quite different I guess. Class contact was fun, because I was staring everywhere and talking a lot to Haiyun. Speaking of it..I remember that there is spotcheck tomorrow. But I cut my nails already.

We had campcraft yesterday, pitched two pitches at first. First time round was quite fast. But I didn't do my role well, it's hard to roll the door flap nicely. It just keeps coming down. Second time round I went over to group 3 myself. -.- The stupid twine kept breaking and breaking. We slowed down so much, because of it, and the progress later on wasn't fast enough for the time limit. I was just tying the guyline's half butterfly when ma'ams made us leave the pitch :( I was quite tired actually. Because that time during dance had to kneel on the floor, got bruises on my knees. After that we moved to the campcraft plot, the place where we used to pitch in the holidays, to do flag. It was the first time that 40 ma'ams teach us flag. Yeah, we got an introduction, and equipment and how to use. Okay.. so there are two poles - upper pole should be shorter than lower pole. Then, poles should be crack-free if can, and straight. For hemp, there are 2 3.5m and 3 5.5m, the 3.5m has 3-5 rounds, and the 5.5m has 5-7 rounds. So if there are five rounds, determine by the size of the loops. For me, I learnt tying of ABU, quite tricky at first. But I got it. Then there was pegging. Somehow similar to CT time, but 7 steps away from the centre point. Still got 120 degrees, must align and make a big hole. *reminds me of ground moles in mr bean* Okay, I shall not write so much down..

So I thought it was fun, but I didn't get to cover all the things. :( Oh yes, I learnt whipping too! It's very cool when you can do it fast. 39 ma'ams were standing around and questioning 40 ma'ams sometimes, and some ma'ams were sitting and watching. Got pressure. ><

I was totally sleepy today. Came to school, and then walked up really really slowly. (recalls a few days back. ah.) Finally settled down, and then Baoxian came to talk about Chem SIA. I realised I have so many things on hand. I can't cope. And I didn't even know my group wanted to redo History SIA. o.O Then there was Maths quiz, Science quiz. I think I did well for maths, but i think i flunked the science. I messed up the stuff I memorised. Got assembly after that. It was funny, because Mrs Lee seemed to act all weird. Then Puay Ling's friend was called to respond to something and then everyone was laughing? Ah. I remember something. WE GOT OUR CLASS TEE!!! finally. But then we didn't make for Mr Mac. :( Li lao shi was asking. After school, I ate stuff and quickly went to the toilet. You know the interesting thing? I was sort of running or hopping down the steps and going towards squadmates. And I stopped at where Glenda and Pei Yin were. I still haven't realised we were standing where ma'ams table row was. So Glenda was rushing me, like ehh hurry, let's go find ma'ams. (hahaha. :D i know why) Then she said something like ma'ams are there, so I turned my head to my right, and ma'am was staring at me. I was seriously shocked eh. I feel so dumb. Later on, Glenda and Pei Yin, they were mainly talking to ma'am, and I was thinking that I was gonna be late and all. Was jin zhang, haha, and when we thanked ma'ams, I started dashing out le. Luckily I reached on time. :) You shall see the change tomorrow.
