ct selections
written on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 @ 11:25 PM ✈
ct selections was today O: well, we thought it would be two days long (a bit long), but nope. everything was settled today. today wasn't extremely good for me, it was okay kind. throughout the whole time, i was trying to decide if it was a go or not. it was just too hard. did a few flag pitches today, and specialisation plus knots and lashings. at the interview, it was just tough, trying to make this decision. i felt like i was torn apart, that sort of feeling. two strong forces on both sides trying to pull you. i loved ct so much, but now it feels a little different. there are many 顾虑s on my mind to be honest, not just those sort of personal kind, also about the unit and teams. one question that has been going in and out of my head - will i regret it if i make this decision? for ct, if i do get in, i would want to be the best i can and work towards goals. i would really hate it if i'm just hanging on a loose thread. clarissa jacinta and i went down to the ground floor after everything and yes, that feeling came back again. i wished i could relive the feelings again. thank you for everything, come what may. i'm pretty tired today, so i think i'd just make my way to my bed soon. 0 comment[s] | back to topGCP :D

Woohoo back from Adelaide Australia on the 28th, but didn't have time to blog about it :D And I've been manually transferring some of my posts from my old blogs over to here O: See how long I haven't posted. I guess this can be some secret sanctuary :D We visited many places in Adelaide, and you can see the pictures on facebook. Based on those pictures, I'd usually write information at the bottom, more of like what I've learnt. (I wish I had the itinerary with me, but my entire journal got kept as sample, so I really hope to post about each day soon!) Was in this group OTH :D And we had Huiyun, Jinhui, Si Hui and seniors - Huaimin & Angelina :) We didn't open up to them early enough, but still at the end we had so much fun together once we got to know one another. And they're really cool seniors as they took care of us in the later part (: On the trip, we had Mr Lim Chow Hoon, Mrs Tieh and Ms Lim Guat Ha (: Something summed up, I guess. It's that the scenery in Australia, South Australia especially is soo beautiful. Especially for Kangeroo Island! Omg. You should have seen the beaches and the skies. The skies are awesome for Adelaide actually, I like those of the suburbs more. Different views. I remember where we went for a night bushwalk, and we walked to the beach standing on this platform. Just think - we were all standing there looking up at the sparkling stars in the dark sky, across the ocean. In that environment, Stacy our guide told us, if we looked ahead, the next piece of land across the ocean would be - the Antartica. And I could feel the extremely cold wind blowing in our faces. You can really get 陶醉in such a pretty place. Huiling saw my msn display pic and she was like wanting me to send her lol :D She wanted to use as wallpaper! (: I'm not that good at phototaking but the view is already so good! :D Lots of spectacular gradients at various times actually. Other great experiences was going to Wilderness School! Met new friends like Maddey, Ashley, Andi and Dani. They're cool :D Maddey was my buddy during English class. A pity it was only for half a day ): We really had fun though and added one another on MSN and FB. Wondering if they will be coming to Singapore anytime soon for exchange programme. One more is when two Singaporeans came and visited us at the YHA, sharing with us so many things about living in Australia. We could ask them almost about anything, and they would be so happy to share with us :) They took such a long drive to and fro X: 10 days was simply not enough for soo many exciting things. And photos are something that helps you capture those memories the best, at least. I took some photos using Si Hui's camera and can't wait to meet her and kope from her xD Got videos also!! 0 comment[s] | back to topSoome stuff I learnt.

I haven't been posting for a long time, was thinking of not blogging like regularly anymore. But anyway after being on "hiatus" for some time, I experienced stuff and learn/reminded myself of things. Lesson one - Learn to look at the goodness of each person; you never know what a person is like if you become judgmental. You should always keep your eyes open and be amazed! Lesson two - Listen to what others have to say! You can find so many new cool ideas from people around, and if you close up your alternatives, your choices will be so limited and restricted. So why not open up the options? Lesson three - Think before you speak. Sometimes people just shoot the wrong things out, and there's no way you can take them back, even if you wanted to. So yes, think carefully, so you don't cause any regrets. Lesson four - Ask if you are in doubt. It's so strange when you see people straddling around in circles but they don't ask you about the matter. It makes things easier also anyway. Can't recall the rest now, will add as I go along, but living for the past few months have made me think or rethink a lot. And sigh, I've to go for GCP later than the rest. Poof. And GRASS will be back when we leave. And relax! I'm worried about weather and stuff. Hope everything would be fine. And hope everyone else enjoys theirs! Don't forget to tell the people around you that you love them, and treasure every single day, some heartfelt thoughts after things that occurred, but luckily.. 0 comment[s] | back to topramblings

some people asked me. well i shall still say the same thing. i maintain my stand regarding areas of interest. accepting a certain role may not mean i'm going to enjoy or feel much towards it. it's just for the sake of the people around. doesn't mean that i don't say anything means i will love it. if that's what's going through your head, then most probably you are wrong. i'm just still frustrated even though some time has gone by. i will do it, but i don't think it will be with passion or interest at all. for some cases, you follow through my stand but for mine, you do it the opposite way. i don't know what is going through your mind, really.. and the place i go everyday is filled with biasedness. i really detest it. when i see things happening the way they are, i feel really uncomfortable. why do the adults who guide us everyday show us such values? it makes me feel that there's no point focusing or sticking to what's right by common sense. the environment is really changing me, i'm not able to get back to the past, to who i was anymore. it's really something that is ke xi. other than that, i somehow feel that people always do things that doesn't make sense. one gets deprived of a chance because of someone doing things that doesn't make sense. i feel a little angry and/or i'm going to leave it alone mood. it's really really frustrating. 0 comment[s] | back to topwritten on Monday, August 3, 2009 @ 1:18 PM ✈
wow new week, so many things has happened. well last week. ohh i saw shiyun ma'am and yeelin ma'am, talked to yeelin ma'am about POP. fell sick shortly because of lack of sleep. i had to do extra for physics sia because nicole's mic screwed up. so the video i did the animation itself (toughh work) and voiceovers myself. slept at 2am, plus all the lack of sleep i had. because no one expected her mic to spoil right! so yahh sigh. i planned to sleep at 12am, but everything dragged on lor. my parents said i keep staying up late. so sick yep. the day where we were supposed to slowmarch and stuff, well, they changed the slowmarch people. i shall not say much about structure. but i'm having super mixed feelings. when people ask if i'm fine, i can't answer for sure either. sometimes im telling myself to look on the bright side but it seems like lying. but again, it isn't that bad. i guess right. i don't know, but yes, there is a sense of disappointment. could see how sqdms were like when they came home. well it's sunday now, i guess i should be calm right. but sigh. it's a bit weirdd still. i can't say i'm calm and balanced already. i'm still feeling imbalanced. it kind of hurts a bit sometimes when you think. i'm willing to take anything that comes and do a great job, but i'm not sure if i will like what i got, because it may not be what i wanted in the first place. i'm afraid to have a lack of passion. because with passion everything goes well right. but once everything becomes a ding ju, i cannot get involved in what i used to be doing for squad stuff, we are constricted in that sense. it's a sense of lostness, a bit. it's like a sudden gush of wind, then you realised things have changed. you may be doing a spectrum of things in the past, but now you can't any longer. that makes me feel sad. as people say na de qi fang de xia. yeah, it sounds really easy. half of me wants to follow it and the other half doesn't. i really hope that i can still do things like before, even though the chance is very low. i'm admiring those who got jobs who can still actively participate in that spectrum of things that they can do. blocks are so near, shouldn't be affected by this. still struggling with my emotions. some sort of battle inside. oh i had this thing stuck in my head a bit. hmm i guess we must learn to feel more towards one another, sometimes we are a little selfcentred. okay i just hope things will change for the better, but really we should not just care for ourselves. (this was drafted at 8plus, and now i'm just ending off yep), jiayou for blocks to all. and maybe one day when i read this again, i'll feel something different. 0 comment[s] | back to top |
